HeroIQ: Built-in HUD

HeroIQ is our optional built-in HUD that allows players to see the statistics that drive our Dynamic Avatar expressions.

Players that choose to activate HeroIQ will be able to view two statistics next to every opponent, once they’ve played a total of 10 hands: VPIP and PFR.

When hovering over any of your opponents, you will also see their expression name, which represents their play-style, their 3-bet statistics, and the total number of hands they’ve played with you.

How to activate HeroIQ

Players can activate HeroIQ in the Table Settings menu on the tables, as seen here:

Saving ‘Activate HeroIQ’ as your Default

To enable ‘Activate HeroIQ’ as your default setting:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to the Settings area via the Lobby (from the left-hand navigation),
  3. In ‘Table Appearance’, open the HeroIQ section and click ‘Enable HeroIQ.

About the Statistics

The HeroIQ built-in HUD contains 3 statistics in total:

  • VPIP (Voluntarily Put money In Pot): The percentage of the time that a player voluntarily contributed money to the pot, given they had the opportunity to do so. 
  • PFR (Pre-flop Raise): The percentage of the time that a player put in any raise pre-flop, given they had the opportunity to do so. 
  • 3Bet: The percentage of the time a player “3Bet” (re-raised facing another players raise) pre-flop given they had the opportunity to do so.

These statistics are also used to produce the Dynamic Avatar expressions.

About the Colour Themes

You may want to change the colouring of the HUD to suit your preferences. The default colouring is as follows:

The default is set up for players who prefer to see opponents with a high VPIP and a low PFR. With that in mind, Green represents what the player would prefer to see in opponents, with Red representing the opposite.

How do I turn on the HeroIQ built-in HUD?

You can turn on HeroIQ by opening the Table Settings menu on the tables. Then click ‘Activate HeroIQ’.

To enable ‘Activate HeroIQ’ as your default setting:

  1. Go to the Settings area via the Lobby (from the left-hand navigation),
  2. In ‘Table Appearance’, open the HeroIQ section and click ‘Enable HeroIQ’.

How do I change the HeroIQ Colour Theme?

We offer 2 spectrums of colour and you have the option to invert the spectrum to suit your personal preference.

To change the colour theme of the HeroIQ:

  1. Go to the Settings area via the Lobby (from the left-hand navigation),
  2. In ‘Table Appearance’, open the HeroIQ section.
  3. Click on one of the two themes for both: Hands played/VPIP & Hands raised/PFR.

To invert your selected theme, click the invert icon on the right-hand side of the theme.

How long before statistics start to appear?

Statistics will start to appear after you have played 10 hands with a particular player.

How long do these statistics last on the tables I play?

These statistics will persist for a given player for as long as they are at the table, and will continue if the player leaves and rejoins within a 4 hour time period.
